Things to do in Hampshire December
Wow! This month is a bumper Christmas edition, there is so much on. I’ve tried to keep it curated and concise but it’s so hard when there’s an abundance of fun events that will be great to attend. Just writing this has got me feeling a bit festive, and wondering how I’m going to fit in everything I want to do.
If you’re not a regular here you need to know my aim is to make your weekends better. Our free time is valuable and we all want to make the most of our time off. I want you to have the most brilliant and festive weekend experiences, especially over the Christmas season.
And, if you are a regular, I’ve been writing a version of this guide for two years now and I hope it might have helped you discover something new or different to do with your spare time.

📌 Alien Native at Gosport Museum and Gallery Walpole Road
📅 22 November 2022 – 20 January 2023
📍 Gosport
👉 New video artwork created by duo Heinrich & Palmer to celebrate the opening of the Gallery. The exhibition is inspired by plants growing locally in the Gosport area and Hampshire Cultural Trust’s herbarium collection. It includes botanical specimens dating as far back as the 18th century.

This Weekend in Hampshire
December is non-stop and Christmas is very much in full swing! ‘Tis the season for festivities and fun in the run up to Christmas and I am here for it.
