Where To Get Breakfast In Hampshire: Southsea Coffee

1. SOUTHSEA COFFEE

From elaborate feta and watermelon salads to breakfast buddha bowls and a very sexy versions of banana bread.

Top the avocado breakfast with the coconut bacon for a touch of vegan brilliance too.

The family and team at Southsea Coffee make it warm, welcoming and THE place to go for some very happy morning vibes.

Where To Get Breakfast In Hampshire: Southsea Beach Cafe

2. SOUTHSEA BEACH CAFE

A glorious spot by the sea. Be warned if it’s sunny, it’s likely to be very popular. I like it in all weathers to be honest. It’s nice to bask in the sun in their open roofed ‘convertible’ cafe (the roof folds back like a car) or when it’s stormy and you can gaze at the torrential rain from the 180 degree windows that surround you.

The scallop and bacon bun with aioli is a firm favourite but I am also fond of the breakfast burrito and the fritters.

Where To Get Breakfast In Hampshire: Josie's Bishop's Waltham

3. JOSIE’S BISHOP’S WALTHAM

Any of the Josie’s are good and you can now find them in Romsey, Petersfield and Winchester. But, my favourite is the original in Bishop’s Waltham, the medieval market town tucked away in the stunning Hampshire countryside. Team it with a beautiful walk and you’ll escape the hustle and bustle from the surrounding cities and from working those Dolly Parton Hours.

Giant American pancake stacks are what they’re well known for but, I can highly recommend the fried chicken, breakfast burritos and loaded tater tots. It’s a staple in the independent food scene in Hampshire, super indulgent and always a treat.

Where To Get Breakfast In Hampshire: The Yard Chilton Candover, Alresford

4. THE YARD AT CHILTON CANDOVER, ALRESFORD

A stunning farm and countryside aesthetic and incredible food and drink. For a mindful, glorious morning, this is where you want to head too.

Famous for its toasties and excellent cakes the menu’s recently expanded with a solid breakfast offering.
