Things to do in Hampshire in January

Well hello there January 2023, a very welcome fresh start to the new year. I’m sat cosied up in my new wing back arm chair, a pre-Christmas panic purchase that’s made me question why I’ve never owned one before. And, I’m sat in my nook with a hot chocolate looking at things to do for the month ahead.

We’re all glad 2022 is behind us for many a reason, yes? I don’t know about you but I’m so ready for the month and year ahead and want to make the most of every minute.

I love January and am not anti the darker months, it’s also my Birthday month, so I always try to make the most of it. This is not a place for diet chat, self-loathing or banishing any fun from what is one twelfth of the bloody year. Life is too damn short.

I sound like a broken record but if you’re a first time reader all you need to know is that my aim is to make your weekends better. Our free time is valuable and we all want to make the most of our time off. I want you to have the most wonderful start to the new year with weekend experiences that brighten up the mid-winter.

This month also marks the start of the third year that I’ve been writing a version of this guide. And, to my regular readers, your lovely feedback about your Hampshire discoveries because of this blog never fails to lift my spirits.
