Things to do in Hampshire This Weekend 9 July 2021 is a quiet one on the event calendar in Hampshire. But, we’re not short of beautiful National Trust sites to explore.
The National Trust is such a fantastic UK institution. You know how Stephen Fry is described as a national treasure, well that’s what this organisation is. Preserving beautiful homes, gardens and land for us to enjoy.
Also, I’m really sorry you can’t escape it right now but, is it….coming home? I will be watching Sunday to find out!

This former Tudor palace turned 17th-century family home also has a beautiful gardens, woodland and wetlands.
I’ve not been to this National Trust site yet and my membership is in need of renewal so I can explore The Vyne. It looks so pretty! The great this about National Trust sites is that they usually have a cafe and a little second hand book shop. I usually find some fantastic reads in them and end up lugging them around my trip!
This Weekend in Hampshire
In addition to all the great National Trust sites to visit this weekend I would be remiss if I didn’t mention all the sport this weekend. England in the final of Euro 2020 (2021), Wimbledon, the Lions and the Tour De France. It’s a big sporting weekend.
Is it….coming home? I will be watching Sunday to find out!
