Things to do in Hampshire 3 September 2021

Another handful of exciting events to make your weekend a bit different and help you experience the county differently too.

Since I started this series on Instagram over a year ago and adding it to the blog at the beginning of the year it’s taught me so much about Hampshire. We’ve got lots of wonderful communities hosting really interesting events and I can’t wait to share more of them with you!

Here’s five Things To Do In Hampshire 3 September 2021…

1. Blackwater Valley Cask & Cork Festival in Yateley

πŸ“… 3-4 September
⏰ Friday 6-11pm, Saturday 11am-4pm, 6-11pm
πŸ“ Sean Devereux Park, Chandlers Lane, Yateley, GU46 7SZ

🎟 Tickets required
πŸ’²Adult Β£10

Stalls, craft, dance, art and more at the Green Fair, with plenty for adults and children to enjoy. It’s nice to see fairs returning, especially ones promoting sustainability in Hampshire.

3. The Portsmouth Kilo Vintage Clothing

πŸ“… 4 September
⏰ 10am-4pm
πŸ“ Mountbatten Leisure Centre, Alexandra Park, Alex Way,Β Portsmouth, PO2 9QA

4. Watch Pride & Prejudice at Chawton House

πŸ“… 5 September
⏰ From 6pm
πŸ“ Chawton, Alton GU34 1SJ
🎟 Tickets required
πŸ’² Adult from Β£14

Watch the 2005 version of Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen in the grounds of Jane Austen’s Brother’s house. Jane spent a lot of time here and it’s the perfect setting for the movie.

I love the modern adaptations of Jane’s novels, they are great stories with brilliant characters from overbearing mothers looking to marry off their offspring to gossiping interfering friendships.

Top Gun, more your vibe? Live near Basingstoke?

Pride & Prejudice not for you? Top Gun is playing at Basing House also on the 4 September from 6.30pm, tickets required and start from Β£15, find out more on the Summer Screens website.

5. Secrets of the Heath at Hogmoor Inclosure

πŸ“… 4 September
⏰ 10am-4pm
πŸ“ Hogmoor Inclosure,Β Bordon GU35 9FX
🎟 Tickets required
πŸ’²Various prices

Experience Anglo Saxon life with re-enactment group Herigeas Hundas and a day of living history. There will be historic displays, combat demonstrations and more throughout the day.
