This week Things to do in Hampshire This Weekend 19 March 2021 suggests a selection of places for takeaway breakfasts in Hampshire to try.
Missing breakfast and brunch dates? Me too. But, all is not lost, as they say light can be found in the darkest of places and you can treat your household to a takeaway meal. There’s something to relish in not having to cook or do the washing up especially at the moment!
Things to do in Hampshire 19 March 2021
There’s nothing quite like a hearty start to the day. Yes, it’s a bit different in lockdown, especially if you’re making it at home. But, you can still order a takeaway breakfast or brunch and have a treat at home or out in the wild near where you live.
Although it’s chilly you can wrap up warm and eat in the garden, enjoying the first sun rays of Spring or take it to a beauty spot near you and enjoy it in the fresh air (well away from others obviously!).
This is why my attention in this week’s Things To Do In Hampshire 19 March 2021 is on takeaway breakfasts in Hampshire.
A weekend treat is definitely helping me get through the monotony of lockdown. Small changes, switches to routine do really make all the difference right now.
Hampshire’s Takeaway Breakfast and Brunch spots
Here’s five takeaways you can try if they’re near you.
Pancakes. Brunch burritos. Tater tots. All hail the great Josie’s. Last weekend we devoured an absolute feast, a wonderful breakfast and it made such a difference to our household’s weekend. I will repeat again, TATER TOTS aka mini nuggets of hash browns to us Brits. A purely joyous way to consume potatoes.
Brilliant service with an easy to use ordering system, a call back to check my order and sort out my onion allergy. *Chefs Kiss*
It was excellent fuel for a three and a half hour walk after and for a brief moment, life felt normal.
More of this feeling please!
Southsea Coffee is back offering takeaway meals again and if you live in Portsmouth, get your assssssssss here for a treat.
Use the online ordering system and go and enjoy you food sat on Southsea Common or the beach. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore and a delicious meal is going to ground you and give that horrible cabin fever feeling a push.
If you want to stay out for a bit longer, go on a walk and check out Portsmouth’s fantastic street art. Use my handy guide to help you find it…
The lovely team at Forte Kitchen have opened The Hatch on Parchment street offering breakfast and brunch up to 11.45am. I love this tucked away bit of brekkie before a peruse around Winchester.
This extension of Forte has been serving up some incredible looking food, I wish it was in reach for me. If you’re in the city, go and enjoy!
A Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influenced breakfast can be ordered from the Farm Kitchen in Southsea now. I had a yummy brunch here in between lockdowns and you can enjoy something from Farm Kitchen this weekend if you live nearby.
Another short walk will find you on the sea front, with plenty of open space to eat your meal outside. A short time out in the fresh air will
This new discovery definitely gets a mention two weeks in a row. I’ve been dreaming of their bacon and avocado fully loaded morning ‘buttys’ which have been all over Instagram this week. Yes please!
Food to go
Well a bit of takeaway brunch will help shake up your weekend and help give you a little slice of something that’s not just a walk, Netflix and your normal lockdown weekend routine. These small joys are the things that are going to get you through this time.
The food envy is real. Cereal this weekend, will just not cut it. It’s definitely a weekend to treat yourself.
I really hope you enjoy this list of places I’ve tried before and are offering takeaway during lockdown. Please stick to the current lockdown rules and don’t travel out of your area.

What to expect from ‘Things To Do In Hampshire This Weekend’ posts
At the beginning of 2021 I turned my regular Friday Instagram Stories recommendations into a blog post for the new year.
Every Friday I share five things across Hampshire for you to do, eat or visit. Normally my suggestions cover everything from events and places to explore to places to eat and drink at.
I started this series out of lockdown and in under a week we were back under lock and key. But, I haven’t let that stop me still coming up with plenty of ideas for a bit of light relief in lockdown.
It’s one of the only places on my blog where I’ll share things I like the look of but, I may not have tried and tested. It’s nice to support businesses or places you’re yet to visit. After all, I can’t be everywhere all the time! Or can I? Knowing me, I will try!
For guidelines and what to expect from this blog post every week, read the first in the series…
Things To Do In Hampshire 19 March 2021 edition is focused on a selection of Hampshire’s takeaway drinks but, you’ll find plenty of other ideas in previous editions of this series of posts.
