Things to do in Hampshire 18 June 2021

Welcome back to my weekly instalment of five fun things to do across Hampshire. The forecast, I’m British, come on we love a bit of weather chat, is storms and rain. It is not the weekend to forget the brolly and the pack-a-mac!

Here’s five Things To Do In Hampshire 18 June 2021…

1. Hampshire Country and Food Festival at Netley Marsh Showground

Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm
Tickets start from £14

This Living Heritage Event has everything from food to falconry to live music and live displays. It looks like a lot of fun!

2. Sculpture at Beaulieu

From 19 June to 30 August
Tickets required – Normal admission applies, part of the general admission ticket.

This weekend the new Sculpture Exhibition Trail opens at Beaulieu Motor Museum. I love things like this, seeing art outside or in a different environment is always cool!

3. Emsworth and Southsea Farmers Market

Emsworth – Saturday 10am-2pm
Southsea – Sunday 10am-2pm

I regularly feature the Hampshire Farmers Markets in this series because it’s just such a nice thing to do at a weekend. Plus, you get to enjoy whatever you buy over the weekend and week afterwards. You get to support local and eat and drink some of the best Hampshire produce.

4. Free Art Workshops at Hotwalls Studios in Old Portsmouth

Sunday 11am-4pm
Free ticket required, limited numbers

Join Artists Alice Hume, Lizzie Cornelius and Sadie Tierney who will be running free weaving, painting and sketching workshops.

This looks so cool, I’m going to try and make it down for one of these!

5. Wyrd Gin Distillery Tours By New Forest Spirits in Ringwood

Saturday 11.45am-1.15pm
Tickets required – from £15

Set in the beautiful New Forest National Park take a look at the hand-crafted production process behind Wyrd Spirits. I love a gin tour and a cheeky sample of the lovely gins being made!

Book tickets and find out more on the Wyrd Spirits website.

This Weekend in Hampshire

There are more and more events being scheduled each week and I’m getting to pick out things here that I think might be an interesting addition to your weekend.

Fingers crossed, things keep heading in the right direction as it’s so nice being able to explore the local area. Such a wonderful bit of freedom compared to the last year.
