This year Twin Atlantic, Modestep and, four time Brit award winners, Scouting for Girls are headlining the three day family-friendly rock festival.
Teddy Rocks Festival kicks off on Friday 28 – Sunday 30 April 2017 in Blandford Forum, Dorset.

From starting in a pub garden to taking over Charisworth Farm, this festival has come a long way in a short time.
In it’s sixth year the local festival, created and run by Tom Newton and his family, is going from strength to strength.
It’s all to raise money to fight children’s cancer which is very close to the Newton family’s hearts.
In 2010 Tom’s younger brother, Ted Newton, lost his life to a rare bone cancer, aged 10. Following this experience Tom’s family started Teddy20, a fully registered children’s charity.
As a way of raising money for the charity, Tom started Teddy Rocks Festival in the courtyard of his local pub raising £400 in the first year.
Five years later and Teddy Rocks has raised close to £100,000. The Jam, The Hoosiers and Don Broco are just a few of the internationally recognised bands that have helped them reach this fundraising milestone.
With the money Teddy20 purchased ‘Ted’s Shack’, a brand new eight-berth, luxury static home on a five-star resort in nearby Weymouth.
Ted’s Shack enables Teddy20 to offer children fighting cancer and their families a holiday free of charge. Here they are able to recuperate in a clean, safe environment, as well as spend quality time together making new memories.
What once took Tom only a few days to organise now takes a whole year and a huge team of volunteers.
Tom Newton, founder and director of Teddy Rocks Festival said: “Teddy Rocks Festival has grown so quickly, I’m proud of what it’s become. None of this would have been possible without the help of my extraordinary team, most of who are my family and friends.”
He went on to say, “After losing my brother, organising Teddy Rocks Festival was a positive way of helping me to cope with his passing. It also became a fun way of raising money for cancer research and to financially support local children and families who are going through treatment. I never dreamt it would get so big!”
This year the event has attracted larger international acts, moved to a bigger site and introduced weekend camping tickets.
The Origin Stage is also a new addition and will welcome top tribute bands Foo Forgers, Oas-is and Green Haze over the weekend.
