Bottomless Tacos at Bonita’s in Portsmouth

Bottomless Tacos at Bonita’s in Portsmouth

17You change your mind, like a girl changes clothes…

For the ever indecisive of us, and yes I class myself within this group, bottomless tacos, where you can pick any of and as many of the tacos as you like, is the DREAM!

And, that’s where Bonita’s Southsea steps in with it’s Taco Tuesday offer – it corners the market and conquers it. Actually it stamps all over the competition unapologetically while telling you you’re pretty and feeding you tacos.

Bonita’s has landed bringing its own blend of fusion Mexican food, humorous cocktails and Beyonce Brunches to the South Coast.

Heading to Portsmouth? You’re going to want to check this restaurant out because those tacos are hella-good!

And, don’t forget your camera because, Bonita’s is as pretty as a picture and you’re going to want to put it on your Instagram…

Locke’s Coffee & Grub in Jersey

Locke’s Coffee & Grub in Jersey

Jersey’s restaurant scene is thriving and a heavy weight punching well above its size is Locke’s Coffee and Grub.

This glass fronted ex-record shop is now an awesome restaurant with a friendly team, incredible coffee and awesome food.

A trip to Jersey isn’t complete if you’ve not visited, and it easily shot to the top of my favourite restaurants on the island.

Dinner at The Old Forge in Otterbourne

Dinner at The Old Forge in Otterbourne

ad* Nestled in the leafy Hampshire village of Otterbourne is the beautiful country pub and restaurant The Old Forge.

It’s recently just opened after undergoing a major transformation and I fell in love with the dreamy velvet, rich tones and metallic finishing touches.

This in addition to the open fireplaces, exposed brickwork and low beamed ceilings make it the perfect winter hideaway!

The mix of traditional English pub and luxury interior is a winning combination and I am so into its cosy vibes. With the festive season kicking in, it’s good to have a few places like up your sleeve when you’re looking for places to visit with friends and family.

I was invited to take a look around and try the new menu, take a look…

New Menu at HarBar on 6th in Southampton

AD* |  The Southampton Harbour Hotel is a stunning hotel standing tall in Ocean Village right on the coast.

It’s built in the shape of a cruise ship and has become an iconic part of the city’s skyline.

The penthouse or top level is the hotel’s main restaurant HarBar on 6th with spectacular views out across the marina and the Solent, the stretch of water between the south coast and the Isle of Wight.

It’s a stunning hang out with a terrace, floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful balcony.

It has a recently launched a new seafood focused menu which I was invited to review.

Celebrating Día de Muertos at Wahaca in Southampton

AD* | The Day of the Dead is all about celebrating life! This, along with Halloween, is definitely my favourite adopted seasonal celebrations and it’s a huge excuse to eat ALL the Mexican food!

Wahaca invited me to a Día de Muertos dinner party, creating a cosy corner where we tried some tasty tacos and quesadillas.

Naturally, I was there with bells on!

A late lunch at Caravan Bankside in London

The trend for small plates is slowly coming over from Australia and New Zealand and it’s a foodie fashion I can get behind.

Caravan Bankside is a great place to experience this trend, it has a well-travelled menu, it’s based in an old metal box factory and it’s nestled in an emerging area of London.
