Looking for a cracking coffee in Jersey? Well then you’re in for a treat. Jersey, especially the capital St. Helier, has a growing coffee scene and I found so many amazing new places to go and get caffeinated!

If you’re looking for an excellent blend, brewing finesse and an appreciation of coffee in its purest form then you must head to Shuga.

You’ll be in great hands, the chaps in charge are all about those good coffee vibes and have a brilliant knowledge and expertise to bring you the best brew whether it’s for your morning commute or for a lazy afternoon strolling around the capital!

The Winchester Orangery has recently opened and it’s as gorgeous as its Instagram indicated. Not only is it filled to the rafters with stunning material flowers but the black and white tiles, chic counters and glass topped tables will make you feel more like you’re on the King’s Road instead of the pretty lanes that frame Winchester Cathedral.

We started Good Friday right with a hearty breakfast, plenty of coffee and orange juice to set us up for a glorious four days free from work, commitments and poor weather!

Take a look around the newbie to Winchester’s foodie scene in a few of my snaps, I say a few…there’s ruddy loads. I couldn’t help myself it was so pretty and the staff were more than obliging – yes, I think I was indulged!

Marks and Spencer has gone all out to celebrate Lendy Cowes Week with a new pop up gin bar called the Mast & Sail at it’s West Cowes store*.

I ventured over to the Isle of Wight for the bar’s opening and to sample ‘The 1826’ gin cocktail that’s been created for the prestigious sailing event.

All aboard the Red Funnel Red Jet for a night on the Island…what a way to spend an evening!

The Ivy Winchester Brasserie* has a similar style to its London counterpart with the acclaimed Martin Brundnizki Design Studio making its mark on this new foodie hotspot.
