On the panel at Emma’s Beautique hosted by Capital FM

Emma’s Beautique is Capital FM‘s annual beauty event on the south coast. It brings beauty brands together to showcase the latest trends in make up and skincare and it’s presented by Capital breakfast host Emma Jo Real Davies.

I went from being a guest to a panelist Emma’s Beautique, a Capital FM beauty event, in the blink of an eye.

I’ve always wanted to go to one of these events and it was one of those things that I’d missed annoyingly for the past three years.

The main hall full of beauty brands

The event has a beauty hall full of brands offering tips, advice and samples as well as some beauty talks, demonstrations and discussions given to the audience in the main hall. It’s a great way to find out the latest make up trends and get some expert advice.

They’ve had some amazing guests in the past including Alice Audley who started Blogosphere magazine.

On the night, a local beauty blogger dropped out and another panelist, Alice Spake, suggested to Emma that I fill the void.

Thanks Alice!

Ten minutes later and I was reading through the topics for the evening preparing what I was going to say and five minutes after that I was up on stage.

The main hall where the talks happened

Emma compared the panel and I was sat alongside Sam who writes the Made from Beauty blog, Alice who writes Alice Anne and runs the Southampton Bloggers.

We spoke about skincare routines, festival looks and our top beauty products.

Emma and I!

It was a huge whirlwind but after the initial nerves I really got into the swing of things and really enjoyed myself.

That’s me getting excited about being on the panel!
Lots of Southampton Bloggers together!

See the event in my April 2018 Vlog and starts from exactly four minutes in…

Thanks so much to Alice, Emma and the Capital South Coast team for offering me such a wonderful opportunity!
