Twitter has a night mode, and it seems to be hit and miss who actually knows about it. This post is for those of you who didn’t know and want to find out more.
I stumbled across this addition to the app by accident when changing some other settings.
It was launched in late August 2016 and aims to improve viewing Twitter in low light conditions or at night. Sounds good to me!
To access this feature open the Twitter app…
Click on the settings wheel and select the Turn on night mode which is the second option on the list…
This then changes the screen to a very dark blue grey…
To remove the function, repeat the process and press Turn off night mode. I hope you enjoy using it!
I’m really enjoying this feature as I find the bright screens really overwhelming. Working in public relations and running a blog means I spend a lot of time using bright screens which tire my eyes.
For the past three days I’ve been using the darker setting and feel that it is helping me, especially in the evening when I’m trying to wind down but still have things to do.
I’d love to hear what you think about this setting, and if you find it useful. Please share your thoughts with me in the comments section. Happy Tweeting!
I really like this setting, cause I have sensitive eyes and so it makes me able to scroll through my feed much easier! This is a great post for those who don’t know that this exists! xxx
