Recently the Bright Lights Big City Instagram account reached a milestone and welcomes 2000 followers into its community of fellow travel and food lovers.

Now look, I know it’s not about the numbers of followers, social is all about engagement. But, it is a nice way to mark a milestone by acknowledging the community is growing.
Sharing valuable reviews and recommendations of places to visit and eat or drink in Hampshire and beyond is what I’m really passionate about. That and supporting small businesses in the area too – we need to bring back our vibrant high streets!
The blog’s really come such a long way since being a uni blog from 2014-2016 which I rarely used, a successful PR blog from 2016-2018 and since 2019 a travel and food blog. I’m looking forward to developing and seeing how it takes shape over the next two years.
