Grab a coffee from Flat Whites Coffee, a small but beautiful family run mobile pod serving up artisan coffee and home made cakes and food.
It’s just off Winchester’s main high street on Market Street leading towards the cathedral.

Hello fellow coffee addicts. If you need your morning coffee hit on the go, you’ll want to hit up the amazing Flat Whites Coffee.
Excellent coffee is hard to get on Winchester High Street, you’ve got to venture off down the side alleys to find a really good brew.
But, seek and you shall find. It’s a refreshing alternative to the chains. Once you’ve picked up a drink, a stroll through Winchester Cathedral grounds with a coffee in hand is very relaxing.
Flat Whites Coffee is one of the closest places you’ll find for good take away coffee on the High Street. If you’re not familiar with Winchester, it is about half way down the main High Street. If you reach Winchester Guildhall, you’ve gone too far.
The coffee is of course roasted in Hampshire and hand crafted by the expert team. The new take away cups are pretty ace too.
Food & Cakes
One of the perks of stopping at Flat Whites Coffee is being able to pick up one of the fresh home made cakes too.
There’s a glorious selection that changes regularly. When I’m running errands it’s nice to have something for later when the inevitable hunger kicks in. I don’t know about you but I forget to eat when shopping and running errands, as I try and cram everything into a day.
A small selection of sandwiches are in a little counter on the side too. It’s is really worth remembering when Winchester gets busy and you want to pick something up nice for lunch but don’t have time to stop.
There are some seats outside now too, which is really makes Market Street a pretty and lovely place to pause and have a drink and a snack.
Flat Whites Coffee
This is a fantastic little coffee place which I’ve visited for years and absolutely adore. The mobile coffee cart has also had a bit of a makeover recently and is looking rather wonderful all spruced up with a colour change.
Flat Whites Coffee is well loved and has a cult following in and around the local area. And, if you want to experience Winchester like a local, this is the place to visit.
It’s well worth grabbing a coffee when you next pass by, and don’t forget a cheeky slice of cake for later. You won’t regret it.
