A shop is a little switch up from my normal travel and food content. But, rules are made to be broken, right?
The shop channels all those travel and wellbeing vibes that connect with what I do here on the blog making it a good fit. Plus, it’s really important to shop locally and support independents. All the different independent business ventures is what make our towns and cities fun and vibrant places to shop, eat, drink and travel to.

There’s not many places after school and University where you can go to learn, grow and find your identity.
I don’t know about you but I’m still evolving, I don’t ever think we stop. Weirdly, some people think this stops as we get older? And, there isn’t many spaces to explore your interests or who you are.
I’m so pleased that a new creative space for women has opened in Southsea – I’m so here for this!
It’s called The Liberty Lounge and, using their words, they’ve opened a ‘mind-gym’. I love this concept and can’t wait to see what they do with the space, how they’ll support women and what classes and workshops they’ll hold.

Last night I caught the first public showing of the new Light Show Spectacular at the outlet shopping centre in Portsmouth and I’m so glad I did!

Becketts is the restaurant in Southsea that’s been recommended to me over and over again. It’s been a Portsmouth staple for the last 30 years but came under new management in 2016 and is thriving in the city’s vibrant food scene.
It has an excellent reputation and now I’ve finally managed to visit I totally understand the hype.
