This 5 ways to navigate lockdown two post isn’t here to tell you what to do. There’s no right way to deal with the lockdown situation, you can do what ever you like. Take no notice of anyone who is saying you should or could be doing X, Y or Z. Lockdown, and this whole pandemic is hard enough without adding any extra pressure to do anything with this time.
Read, don’t read, run, don’t run…whatever you choose to do or not do is EXACTLY what you should be doing.
But, if you’re looking for things to do and fancy a couple of suggestions, here’s 5 ways to navigate lockdown two…

ᵃᵈ Kickstarting healthy habits is hard, isn’t it? The January new year, new you ‘let’s make resolutions’ bandwagon doesn’t work for me.
Instead I need a bit of gentle motivation to remind me that I enjoy going to the gym, and my social life doesn’t have to suffer, works wonders.
The lovely team at Whiteley Shopping Centre knew I needed a bit of a boost post accident and invited me to spend the day discovering the great shops and to have dinner at one of the restaurants to help me get motivated.
Here’s how I spent my day, the new gym kit I picked up and where I had a spot of dinner…

Month six of my fitness journey is another rollercoaster of a month. Just when I had got back on the wagon, I came down with a bug and was a bit under the weather.
Setbacks be dammed, the motivation is real!
These posts are not preachy, it’s just documenting one girl’s mission to feel happier in herself.

Last month I fell off the wagon in a big way. While month four of my fitness journey was a disaster, the only way was up in July.
Month five of my fitness journey has been very patchy as I try and climb back on the exercise wagon.
For those of you new to my blog, these posts document my journey but are not preachy, it’s just one girl on a mission to feel happier in herself.

I am so far off the wagon, I can’t even see the wagon! Month four on my fitness journey has been what most would deem as an EPIC FAILURE. Trying to keep all to my commitments while sticking to exercise has not worked in June.
There’s been no Couch to 5k training program, no gym sessions and no weights. This is not good, in fact, it’s worse than that – how could I let this happen?
Like I’ve said before these posts about my journey are not preachy, it’s just one girl on a mission to feel happier in herself.
Join me as I share my journey, work outs and motivations, or lack of them, in June!

Month three on my fitness journey has been all about balance. Trying to keep all to my commitments while sticking to exercise has been hard.
There’s not enough time in the day to fit everything in. But, rather than give up altogether, I’ve stuck to the Couch to 5k training program, adding in gym sessions with weights when I can.
Like I’ve said before, it’s not preachy, it’s just one girl on a mission to feel happier in herself.
Join me as I share my journey, work outs and motivations as I run my way through May and discover the garden gym!

This is what the end of a workout looks like for me. Red, sweaty, certainly not what you’d see on Instagram, but very happy. This picture is the very start of my fitness journey.
If you’re looking for super glossy fitness inspiration then this series of posts may not be for you. But, if you want a very real fitness journey that’s (hopefully) motivating, then stick with me because it starts here.
I’m going to be sharing my journey, including my work outs as I move from not fit to fitter!
