Going rogue in Southampton

Looking for a new brunch, lunch and cocktail spot? Rogues Cafe is a hidden gem right in the heart of Southampton.

Tasty food, friendly staff and quirky decor make this independent one to support.

From the hand written menus to the local art on the walls, this restaurant definitely has character.

The food’s not bad too. From brunch favourites to burgers with self-confessed ‘dirty-bastard fries’ there’s something for everyone at this new foodie spot.

Just go easy on ‘The Hottest Fuckin’ Wing Sauce’ because that really does pack a punch. It’s not for the faint-hearted!

My favourites were the delicious chicken wings (not with hot sauce!) and the asparagus and eggs on toast.

They are still refining the menu, so I can’t wait to see what new things they bring out in the near future. I’m particularly looking forward to sampling their new cocktails when they arrive.

I think I have to confess that I left my heart with Percy, the gorgeous German Shepherd, who is unbelievably well behaved.

Percy, the cutest member of the Rogues Cafe team!

His presence makes it feel like you’re walking into a friends house for drinks and a catch up. It’s that friendly warmth that makes Rogues Cafe really appealing.

It’s the kind of place you can go to nurse a hang over with a ton of food, for evening drinks or with a groups of friends for a catch up dinner. I’ll definitely be heading back very soon!

*PR experience – a huge thanks to the Rogues Cafe team for inviting me for dinner
